on account of children of alcoholic (COA) awareness week ,a one day workshop on ‘Alcohol and Family” organized for MSW and MSC Psychology student at Dr.A.V Baliga Memorial Hospital, udupi in association with by Rotary club Manipal and Indian Medical Association Udupi Karavali on 14.02.2020.
Audience and dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Virupakaha Devaramane consultant psychiatrist of Dr. A.V.Baliga Memorial hospital. Chief guest of the function Dr.R V Baliga, trustee of Dr. A.V. Baliga Charities and Kamal A. Baliga Charitable trust inaugurated the program by lightning lamp he spoke about casualties caused in work place and in every spectrum due to alcohol. Dr. P V Bhandary Director and consultant psychiatrist of Dr. A V Baliga Memorial Hospital presided the programme. Dr. Deepak Mallya Consultant psychiatrist, Dr. K S Latha, Psycho social consultant were present on these occasion.
