KAMAL A. BALIGA RURAL MEDICAL CENTER

Kamal. A. Baliga Rural Medical Center was established in memory of Late Mrs. Kamal A. Baliga, wife of Late Dr. A. V. Baliga. This is a multi-disciplinary center present on the same campus as ‘Ashraya – Home for Senior Citizens’ at Haradi, near Brahmavar.

The Medical Center offers services in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pathology, Radiology, Dentistry, Family Planning and Family Welfare; it is well supplemented by a Minor Operation Theatre, Laboratory and Pharmacy. The center is fully air conditioned with back-up power facilities. This state of the art Medical Center, which is primarily concerned with the welfare of the rural populace, is the first of its kind in India.
